What We Provide
Comprehensive Reading Intervention
Word Recognition & Decoding
Training in word recognition, decoding skills and spelling enhancement to build a strong reading foundation.
Multi-Sensory Learning
Three different teaching styles — visual, auditory and tactile — to ensure every student’s way of learning is accommodated.
Initial Assessment
Upon your first visit, the instructor will do an assessment to appropriately place the student in our program at the right level.
Program Structure
Two Parts to Reading Mastery

Part One: Building the Foundation
Every student begins with Part One to achieve a solid foundation and begin to build reading mastery. This covers letter-sound correspondence, basic phonics, sight words, and foundational decoding skills.

Part Two: Advanced Skills
Part Two begins when Part One has been completed and understood. It contains sections on syllabification, obscure phonics, prefixes, suffixes, parts of speech and spelling rules.
Reading Rescue Online¶
Learn from the comfort of your own home.
Reading Rescue Online uses the same successful program as our in-person instruction. Our qualified instructors help struggling readers develop the specific skills they need to read proficiently and reach their full potential.
A Free Trial Includes¶
A technology check, an instructional session for parents to use the technology, and a chance to ask questions.
Weekly Sessions¶
Our program includes weekly one-to-one individualized sessions online at the cost of $40 per session. Each session provides a follow-up report containing all material taught during that lesson to be practiced in preparation for the following session.

Our program is influenced by: Overcoming Dyslexia by Sally Shaywitz, The Brain That Changes Itself by Norman Doidge, and research by Marcel Just on using the plasticity of the brain to gain educational improvement.
